Phillies 3B Polanco re-injures left elbow on swing
Philadelphia Phillies third baseman Placido Polanco has re-injured his surgically repaired left elbow in the first inning against the Toronto Blue Jays.
Polanco hyperextended his elbow in his only appearance Tuesday. He stayed in to play defense in the bottom half of the inning, but was replaced by Wilson Valdez when the second inning began.
“It’s just a day-to-day thing I think,” Polanco said. “When I’ve had it before, I never stopped playing. But since I had surgery, they took me out.”
Polanco was limited to 132 games in 2010 while dealing with chronic left elbow pain. He had scar tissue and bone spurs removed from the arm when he underwent surgery in November.Cheap NFL jerseys
“It’s right where I had the surgery, but it’s nothing bad,” he said. “I’ve had it before. I’ve had it a million times. But the fact that I had surgery on that elbow, we’re being safe. We’re playing it very safe. We’ll see how it feels tomorrow and the next day, take it a day at a time.”

A’s closer Bailey leaves loss to Indians
The Oakland Athletics can only hope that All-Star closer Andrew Bailey isn’t seriously hurt.
Bailey left with discomfort in his pitching elbow after facing three batters Monday in a 9-8 loss to the Cleveland Indians. The right-hander had elbow surgery Sept. 24 to remove bone chips and bone spurs. He had Tommy John surgery in 2004.
“He had tightness down his forearm, from the elbow down,” manager Bob Geren said. “He’s being checked out.”
Bailey will be examined Tuesday by renowned specialist Dr. James Andrews in Birmingham, Ala. The A’s said they would provide more information on the reliever’s status once it was available.
The AL Rookie of the Year in 2009 and an All-Star the past two seasons, Bailey spent a month and a half on the disabled list last season. He has a 1.70 ERA and 51 saves in 132 1-3 career innings.Cheap NHL jerseys
He left after giving up an RBI double to Travis Hafner and then throwing one pitch to Ezequiel Carrera.
“He winced after he threw the pitch,” Geren said. “His velocity was good until that.”

The first RP realms had very heavy populations as a result of tons of players that wanted to roleplay; the introduction of new RP realms helped ease the overburdened realm population.
